In the deadly Shadow Fight, where a sweeping spotlight vaporized the careless, Pockets thrived—using shadows, deception, and stolen weapons to outwit stronger foes. His victory crowned him a legend, the thief who stole not only survival, but immortality.

The pirate who thrived in chaos. Op-Shin’s victory in the Gauntlet became one of the bloodiest—and most cunning—legends of the Games. Born in a riverport of smugglers and raiders, she lost a finger in battle but wore it as proof of her defiance. In the Gauntlet of Chains, she turned the shifting traps into her weapons, outsmarting stronger foes and seizing victory with ruthless cunning. Her legacy endures as the Champion who made the arena itself her crew.

Once a palm reader accused of sorcery and lynched by those she tried to help, Wicked Witch’s soul wandered for centuries until King gave her a second life in the Ring. Fueled by vengeance against humanity, she entered the Mindspire—a dream-forged arena designed to shatter minds. Where others fell to illusions of fear, lies, and endless despair, Wicked Witch endured them all. She did not bend the spire to her will—she conquered it. Crowned Champion, she was forever remembered as the woman with the unbreakable mind, the “Breaker of the Spire.”

Selene Veyra , the Iron Viper - Known as “Sweetie” became Kalamas’s first female champion. A master of five martial arts and skilled in sword-and-shield combat, she combined her deadly training with the art of manipulation—using her beauty and skills as a psychiatrist to disarm enemies before striking. Her cunning mind and ruthless efficiency carried her to victory, marking her as one of the most dangerous champions Kalamas had ever produced.

Lucky was the second champion of the 1Up Arena, a poor drifter from Vakam who entered the games seeking wealth rather than honor. Nicknamed “Lucky” after his victory, he survived the deadly Draw of Fate game — a brutal test of chance and paranoia — without ever drawing a curse mark. While others fell to madness, betrayal, and the Arena’s horrors, he quietly endured until the Final Gamble consumed every other contender. Crowned champion not by strength but by sheer fortune, Lucky remains remembered as the man who won through chance alone, leaving Kalamas to wonder if he was truly blessed… or cursed.

Once a forgotten soldier named Kaelen Dravos, he died nameless on the battlefield, his body abandoned and his memory erased. Called back by the Ring and bound by King’s will, he rose as a wraith—smoke, shadow, and rage given form. In the Arena, he fights not for gold or glory, but to etch his existence into eternity through fear.

Parla Queet was a gentle herbalist from Kalamas, known for her deep knowledge of plants and remedies. After losing her brother in the Games, she entered not for glory but to win resources to heal her people. In the Trial of Remedies, a deadly temple of toxins and curses, she stayed calm where others panicked—mixing antidotes, crafting poisons, and turning nature itself into her ally. Parla survived where warriors fell, conquering the arena not with violence but with wisdom. She became the champion remembered for proving that knowledge and compassion could overcome even the cruelest trials.

Twin (The Brothers of Shadow) – Once two lost souls, bound together by a deal with King, fused into a single cursed body with the power to split into two - able to vanish and reappear through connected darkness. Entering the brutal Tower of Trials, they thrived in the dark floors, using deception and their unnatural bond to survive traps, illusions, and duels that claimed nearly every other contender. In the final clash, their unity proved unstoppable—one Twin fought in the open while the other emerged from an enemy’s shadow to deliver the killing blow. Crowned the 7th Champion, Twin’s victory returned more land to the Ring, and they were forever remembered as the haunting Brothers of Shadow.

Villain

Ivor Nyle, known as Top Shot, was a master archer from Kalamas whose twin sister was accidentally vaporized when the Heart was first activated. Consumed by grief and hatred, he attempted to assassinate the lead scientist of the Heart Project but was imprisoned. Kalamas offered prisoners freedom through victory of the next Arena Event. Ivor entered the deadly 1Up Arena, outwitted his foes, and became champion. Two months later, he fulfilled his vow of revenge, assassinating the Heart’s head scientist before fleeing Kalamas to join the Ring.

Medic Max was a war veteran from Pyro City, once a medic who saved lives on countless battlefields. After losing his wife during the first undead invasion, he entered the 1Up Arena fueled by vengeance. In the inaugural game of Hide and Seek, he led his squad with tactical brilliance, outlasting and defeating multiple undead teams. In a final desperate stand, he survived alone against overwhelming odds as the timer struck zero, earning the title of the first Arena Champion. His victory became legendary, symbolizing humanity’s resilience and turning Medic Max into a timeless hero of Kalamas.

Donee Emerson, the Skyborn stormbearer, wields the terrifying power to bend lightning and electricity at will. Entering the Arena not for glory but for vengeance, he sought to unleash his wrath upon the undead and prove the dominance of his people. His victory left the battlefield scorched and humanity divided—some hailed him as a savior, others feared him as a new enemy.

G-Rock, the Living Obsidian — once a traitor, now a titan. Banished from Kalamas, he sold his soul to the Ring and returned remade in armor and spikes. In the Shattered Square, where the ground itself crumbled away, he stood unshaken. While others fell screaming into the abyss, G-Rock used the collapsing floor as his weapon, hurling rivals into the void. When the dust cleared, only one platform remained—and on it, he stood alone.

Za’tari Ohana – Queen of the Arena
Born as the only daughter of Kalamas’ Chancellor during a time of unrest, Za’tari was raised amidst strategy, politics, and war, learning from a young age that her life belonged to her people. Yet she harbored a fierce independence and a desire to forge her own legacy. On her eighteenth birthday, she defied her father and entered the Arena Games—facing 34 other combatants in the most dangerous tournament in history.

Originating from West Point, Kalamas, Wrest was born among giants known for their wrestling traditions. Once a disciplined fighter, he fell into alcoholism, losing his strength, wealth, and dignity. Desperate for money, he entered the Arena Games, where the Feast of Survival tested gluttony, poison, and madness. While others overindulged, Wrest’s liquor-soaked body resisted toxins, and his massive frame crushed bloated foes. He became Champion not out of hunger for food, but hunger for escape— the man who turned his weakness into unshakable victory.

King

Villain

King, the Undying Monarch, was born from the blood of 99 human wars. With the power to command lost souls, he forged the Ring into his dominion. When his rule was questioned after years of defeat, King entered the Arena himself. In the brutal game of Handicap, he crushed every foe—undead and human alike—until none remained. Crowned the 6th Champion and the 2nd from the Ring, his victory reclaimed lost lands and cemented his reign through fear and absolute strength.

Villain

Zom was the first undead champion of the 1Up Arena, a reanimated corpse chosen by King after The Ring’s repeated defeats. Entering a brutal no-weapons battle royale against forty-nine human opponents, Zom was torn apart early on but rose again thanks to his cursed gift of regeneration. Feeding on the dying, he built an army of corpses that swept the battlefield until only the undead remained. Crowned champion, Zom secured The Ring’s first victory and proved that even death itself could dominate the Arena.
