King
Villain
King was not born, but forged through human bloodshed. For thousands of years, nations warred endlessly—99 wars in total. With each battle, countless souls were lost, their hatred and sorrow gathering in the depths of the underworld. When the final war ended in ruin, this ocean of sacrifice tore open a rift, and from it emerged King—a being shaped by humanity’s violence itself. Unlike other undead, he carried no master’s leash. Instead, he bore the right to command, gifted with the power to bargain with lost souls, binding them under his dominion. With these deals, he assembled an army of undead soldiers—creatures twisted by unique remnants of who they once were. When he stepped onto the earth, he did what humanity had trained him for: he conquered. Claiming territory piece by piece, he declared himself ruler of a new dominion—The Ring.
Motivation:
For years, the Arena Games were a humiliation for the Ring. Kalamas secured victory after victory, flaunting their power while the Ring’s champions fell. Whispers of weakness began spreading through King’s own ranks. Commanders and generals questioned if he still deserved the crown. King’s answer was fury and resolve:
“You’re all talking but you’re weaklings. If none among you are strong enough, I will do it myself. And if you doubt me, I’ll offer my crown—beat me in the Games and you’ll become the new King of the Ring.”
This vow silenced all dissent. King would enter the arena not just to win, but to prove that he alone was strength.
Arena Style – Handicap
This year’s game was called Handicap. Eleven participants drew numbers from 1 to 11. A wheel was spun—whoever’s number it landed on had to fight. But the catch was cruel: that fighter spun twice more, summoning two opponents to battle at once. Victory meant returning to the pool. Defeat meant death. The cycle repeated until only one participant remained alive.
Legacy:
From the moment King stepped into the arena, the atmosphere shifted. When his number was called, fear gripped the chamber. His blows were monstrous, breaking seasoned Kalamas warriors in moments. Against the undead, who was bound to him through contracts. They collapsed before they could raise a weapon, their will chained to his authority rendered them powerless to resist. Kalamas’s fighters fought bravely, but none could match him. Round after round, King slaughtered or bent his foes, turning the contest into a massacre.
When the final spin ended, he stood undefeated. King became the 6th Arena Champion, the 2nd to do it from the Ring. With his victory, he reclaimed territories that had been lost and silenced all doubts of his rule. His name was etched in blood and fear, forever remembered as the monarch of death.
