G-Rock
Legend
Arnold Dickelson was once a name of respect in Kalamas’ high halls. A towering figure of muscle and steel, he earned the nickname G-Rock—unyielding, immovable, feared. But power breeds rebellion. For ten long years he whispered doubt into the ears of the people, painting Kalamas’ leaders as liars who ruled from shadows. When they finally cast him out, he didn’t leave empty-handed.
He stole everything—blueprints, biotech, weapons, even armor meant for the Chancellor’s guard. Exiled and hunted, he disappeared into the ruins of the Ring. There, he made a deal with its infamous King. The Ring remade him, fusing man with living metal. His new armor could erupt in jagged spikes at will, turning him into a walking weapon. Arnold Dickelson died that day—G-Rock was born.

Motivation:
G-Rock did not fight for gold or fame. He fought to prove a point—that humanity’s only path forward was evolution. To him, the Ring wasn’t an enemy, but the future. He wanted to show Kalamas that survival lay in strength, not tradition—that by fusing the living and the undead, mankind could surpass both.
But deep inside, guilt gnawed at him. He had betrayed his people, broken their trust, and stolen their secrets. The Arena became his crucible. If he won, he would show the world the power of unity between man and machine. If he died, it would be penance for every oath he shattered.

Arena Style: The Shattered Square
A nightmare in stone—the Shattered Square was a colossal platform suspended above an endless void.
• Layout: A massive floor of runed tiles, each glowing faintly, each ready to crumble at a moment’s notice.
• Mechanic – Falling Floors: The arena devoured itself, tile by tile, until nothing remained but chaos and a handful of survivors.
• Hazards: One misstep meant the abyss. Fighters shoved, grappled, and scrambled for stable ground as the battlefield collapsed beneath their feet. Some were crushed by falling stone, others hurled screaming into the black.
• Victory Condition: The last warrior standing on the final fragment of stone—whether by sword, brute force, or sheer defiance—was crowned Champion.
⸻
Legacy: The Living Obsidian
The Shattered Square fell apart piece by piece, and with it, the courage of weaker men. Competitors fought desperately to cling to stone, but G-Rock thrived in the chaos.
He turned the collapsing arena into his weapon. With every thunderous step, he rammed enemies onto crumbling tiles, forcing them into the abyss. His armor erupted with spikes, tearing through anyone reckless enough to get close. Each collapse only drew him further into legend—he didn’t dodge the destruction, he commanded it.
When the last tiles began to fall, a storm of dust and screaming bodies filled the air. Yet through the chaos, G-Rock stood alone, arms spread wide, as if daring the abyss itself to challenge him. When the dust cleared, only one fragment of stone remained—and upon it, G-Rock towered like a god of iron.
From that day on, the people gave him a new title: “The Living Obsidian.” A traitor to some, a prophet to others, but to all… a Champion who could not be broken, a man who became the stone itself.
