Demon
Villain
Long before the Arena was carved into blood-soaked earth, something far older stirred beneath Kalamas—the infernal remnants of an ancient world, passed lives, and lost souls. From that abyss rose Demon, a creature born of fire, hatred, and raw destruction. His flesh is carved from burning stone, veins coursing with molten rage, and jagged horns mark him as a scion of the underworld.
For centuries, he slumbered in darkness, feeding only on the whispers of fear from mortals above. But the Ring—ever hungry for champions—unearthed him. King himself struck a pact: release the beast and bind him to the Arena, offering Demon the chance to become a devastating force of the underworld—a light that burns not with hope, but with havoc and destruction.
Now, when his name is spoken, it is not with reverence or mockery, but with dread. Demon is not cursed, not twisted by tragedy, not pretending. He is exactly what he appears to be: a nightmare unbound, restrained only by the invisible chains of the Ring.
⸻
Motivation:
Unlike men who fight for gold, glory, or lost purpose, Demon fights because it is his nature. He is destruction made flesh. Every scream is a hymn; every death, a prayer to the chaos he serves. While others enter the Arena to survive, Demon enters to remind mortals that hell is real—and it wears his face.

Arena Style: The Gauntlet Hall
Design & Atmosphere:
A long, rectangular stone hall lined with iron torches. Narrow and confined, the hall forces constant confrontation. Heavy iron gates divide the space into sections, gradually merging the 12 combatants into a single, inevitable clash.
Rules & Structure:
• Isolated Entry: Each fighter begins locked in their own section, able to hear but not see their rivals.
• Gate Release: Gates slam open at intervals, funneling participants closer together until only the central chamber remains.
• Sparse Weapons: Basic weapons are scattered in each section. Fighters must choose whether to arm themselves early or wait for the right moment.
• Stone & Iron Hazards: Uneven floors, loose stones, slick patches, and jagged iron rods provide danger and opportunity alike.
Victory Condition:
The last fighter standing in the narrowing hall is declared Champion. Early clashes are often one-on-one or two-on-one, escalating to a brutal free-for-all as the hall compresses into a single killing ground.
⸻
Legacy:
When Demon entered the Gauntlet Hall, the crowd fell silent—not in awe, but in terror. His steps cracked the stone beneath him; torches bent and guttered as though fire itself feared his presence. From the first gate drop, the narrow hall became a slaughterhouse. Rivals who charged were torn apart barehanded, their weapons shattered against his molten flesh. Those who tried to flee found walls and floors betraying them, collapsing under his rage as if the arena itself bent to his will.
By the time the final chamber opened, four had entered—but only Demon remained. The floor was slick with blood, torches extinguished, and the hall echoed with a silence more dreadful than screams. Even King, who unleashed him, watched unmoved, witnessing not a warrior but a living calamity.
Demon was not remembered as a champion of the Gauntlet Hall. He was remembered as the first true monster to conquer it. His name became a warning whispered throughout Kalamas: when Demon fights, the walls themselves bleed.
